If you read my blog, you might be able to guess by now that I am a lover of autumn. Probably has to do with the fact that I grew up in New England and autumn to me, was the best time of the year! The season brings absolute perfection to florals, color, weather and not to mention all the delicious eats!
This warm, golden-toned bouquet is comprised of several breeds of autumn roses, dahlias, and native flowers. Hypericum foliage adds just the right amount of autumnal spice to bouquet.
Yesterday’s rain left the sky so blue and the trees ablaze with autumn colors gleaming in the sunlight. I spent the morning in my backyard making bouquets with maple leaves and hydrangeas. I love the color gradation autumn brings. I could not love this time of the year more!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope your day was filled with lots and lots of love, fun, turkey and tasty cocktails! This year has been very fulfilling with the start of my new business, Lutèce Floral and Event Design! I would not be able to do any of what I do if it wasn’t for each and every one of you so THANK YOU! And of course, I am greatly thankful for my beloved friends and family who are always giving me much love and courage.
Decided to come to Karuizawa to get away from the sweltering heat in Tokyo.
I had some left-over flowers so took them along with me and had a lovely mother-daughter
flower lesson with my mom.
Like fashion, flower trends are always ahead of season. This autumn-inspired bouquet is delicately intertwined with mauve colored roses and subdued toned hydrangea.
